How to Make a Toothpick Tree

1 1/2" foam balls

 

 

Boxes of toothpicks - 1 whole box for each ball

 

 

Stick the toothpicks into the foam balls.  This is a bit painful ;)

 

 

On a 10" wreath, the bottom layer held 8 "snowballs"

 

 

The second layer has 5 "snowballs"

 

 

The third layer has 3 "snowballs"

 

One perfect snowball is placed on top

Three cans of snow covered the entire tree

 

 

 

 

Spray the tree well and let the snow dry

 

Just a few small decorations.  More to come.

 

  

 

It's cute with the train!

 

 

A night light underneath looks awesome!  Colored bulbs are pretty too!
